About Hidden Glasgow

Hiya!

Welcome everyone!

My name is Sam, and I am a Marketing and Hospitality & Tourism student at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland. I have lived in various parts of the East End of Glasgow, and feel lucky to have called it home for several years.

Why Hidden Glasgow?

Our wee city of Glasgow has so much to offer, with it being voted the world's friendliest city, to some areas being voted top of the world's best neighbourhoods, and more recently, more and more restaurants have been given the critical acclaim of Michelin star status.

With this upward trend of recognition and growth in mind, I wanted to take the opportunity to showcase some lesser-known visitor spots. I created this blog 'Hidden Glasgow' for those who may wish to discover the areas beyond Finnieston and Buchanan Street.

With the threat of financial instability looming this winter for many of us, I hope to highlight some affordable places close to home, especially for families, students, young people, or anyone interested in simply exploring.
